Welcome to Woodbury, Connecticut! We are a Town of approximately 9,700 people living in harmony with the environment.

Travel down our Main Street, Route 6, and you will see many historical buildings including our Town Hall built in 1846. Visit our many and varied antique furniture dealers and stop for a bite to eat at one of our fine restaurants, delis, and sandwich shops. Our vistas of rolling hills, stone walls, rivers and streams attract tourists from all over, every year. Preservation of open space, protection of our watershed and aquifer, and providing a quality school system and a vibrant business community are priorities for the residents of Woodbury.

Join us on September 18th through 20th for our three hundred and fiftieth (350th) anniversary celebration of the first land deed (1659) establishing the territory of Woodbury.

Our greatest asset, however, is our pool of volunteers that serve on the Town’s many boards and commissions. They offer their time, skills, and talents to continue to make Woodbury a place we are all proud to call home.
