Parks:
Hollow Park on Hollow Road and Orenaug Park on Park Road, are opened from 6 a.m. to one hour after sunset. At this park there are softball, baseball, soccer and multi use fields as well as a river walk along the Pomperaug river. The swimming area is open from mid-June to the end of August. Family swim memberships are available. There is a covered pavilion, picnic tables, a basketball court, sand volleyball and various playscapes.
Assignment of the use of the Hollow Park's ball fields is through the Park and Recreation office at (203) 263-3113. Reservations for the use of the Hollow Park pavilion, concession building and the North Green gazebo are also assigned through the Park and Recreation office.
Orenaug Park has a trail from Park Road and a trail from behind the town library. Both end at the observation tower.
Nonnewaug Falls: Located on the town line of Woodbury and Bethlehem, is a beautiful trail alongside the fields to a stunning waterfall. Well worth a walk.
Three Rivers Park: At the junction of Route 47 and Jacks Bridge Road we have a large multi-use athletic field. Across the river a little further along Jacks Bridge Road is a parking area for a trail along the river. A beautiful walk and access to the river for fishing.
