A variety of Senior Programs are presented at a beautiful facility located a 265 Main Street South. Access to the building is by way of the Town Office Complex/Library driveway.

Mini bus transportation is available Monday through Friday.The schedule of visited locations repeats monthly and offers a variety of locations for shopping or appointments. The bus is handicap accessible and is available for use by any handicapped person in the Community. Please call 24 hours in advance.

Congregate meal service is provided Tuesday and Thursday at 12 p.m. Reservations must be made by calling the center at 263-2828 before 10 a.m. on the service day prior to the day you plan to attend.

Meals on Wheels, a federally funded nutrition service to the homebound, are available through N.O.W.,Inc. Center volunteers provide delivery service MOnday through Friday.

Sandee Vicari, Municipal Agent for the Elderly is available, by appointment, by calling 263-4117, to aid and assist seniors in applying for State and Federal assistance programs.

Senior Center staff includes Betsey Palmer, Director of Elderly Services; Loryn Ray, Program Coordinator; Karen Blanchet, Office Manager; Bernie Lesson, Accountant; Larry Bainer and Tom Davis, Senior Bus Drivers; and Jim Trenske and Dave Way, Custodians

The Center is open form 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Programs and events are published weekly in Voices and the Waterbury Republican-American and monthly in our Center Newsletter. A quarterly prospectus of planned events is available at the Center Information table.
