About Us

Mission Statement

The Woodbury Shade Tree and Sidewalk Committee is committed to the task of reforesting the streets of Woodbury, to enhancing the beauty of these streets, and to maintaining the Town’s urban forests.
To raise and fund projects privately through donated money.
To educate citizens and school children about Urban Forestry and Tree Care Maintenance.
To identify and make recommendations to the Board of Selectmen,and to provide information as it pertains to planting sites, additions to, and repairs of the Town’s sidewalk infrastructure.
To plant and to put into production a Town tree nursery and to obtain the necessary plant materials to be used in conjunction with the Towns Tree Planting Program
