Town Office Complex

 

Town Offices are located in the Shove Building (white brick) and the Boyd Building (red brick). The Shove Building contains offices of the first selectman, town planner, probate judge, accounting, fiscal director and the park and Recreation Department.

The Boyd Building houses the offices of the town clerk, assessor, tax collector, building official, registrars of voters and the Pomperaug District Department of Health. The town vault is also located in the Boyd Building.

 

 

 

Use of playing fields in town, the Hollow Park pavilion and the North Green gazebo are reserved by calling the Park and Recreation office at (203) 263-3113. Use of the Library gallery is scheduled through the Woodbury Public Library at (203) 263-3502

 

 

Town Meetings

All registered voters and those citizens at least 18 years of age, who can show ownership of at least $1,000 property on the Assessor's list, may vote at town meetings. Legal warnings of all town meetings appear under legal notices in newspapers having a general circulation in the town. Agendas for town meetings and board and commission meetings are posted on the bulletin board in the Boyd Building.
